24 Motivational Songs to Pump You Up and Keep You Going
If there’s ANYTHING stable in the life of an entrepreneur, it’s the highs and lows that accompany each day. The smallest changes in your habits and daily routine can make the greatest impact on your ability to remain resilient through challenges, and to maintain a level head when making difficult decisions.
If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably seen a couple of my posts where I’ve opened up about my struggles with anxiety. I’ve been able to combat that with a combination of habits, one being filling my mind with positive energy in the form of inspiring music and words of affirmation to silence my “inner committee of critics” that like to expound upon worst-case scenarios for as long as I allow it.
Over time, I’ve organically compiled my favorite songs to play in the background depending on my mood. Some song choices are new additions that I found in the process of researching more music for this blog post, but I’ve listened through and curated each one for your personal listening.
TL;DR:
Get Hyped for the Hustle
Expect some hard-hitting melodies, a lot of money talk and domineering beats to get you amped up and in an optimal workflow. If hip hop/rap are NOT your forte and/or you’re sensitive to profanity in music, steer clear of this playlist.
Keep Your Head Up
As the title suggests, these songs were hand-picked for those days when life looks bleak, your spirit is low and you need a little pick-me-up to keep you chugging along and moving forward.

All the stars are closer, all the stars are closer, all the stars are closer”Bounce Back — Big Sean

D town LAX, every week I bounce back
If you a real one, then you know how to bounce back”The Greatest — Sia
“Ay, I work hard, pray hard, pay dues, ay
I transform with pressure, I'm hands-on with effort
I fell twice before, my bounce back was special”

“You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains”Where You’re At — Allen Stone

The people didn't make me nervous, tried to hide all their sins
And I've got no reason to cover my tracks
The best part of learning is just loving where you're at”You Say — Lauren Daigle
“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know (ooh oh)”
