Shell Casings & Levi's
This post is near and dear to my heart because of the statement piece in this outfit: the shell casing necklace. During a family trip to AZ, my brother-in-law (still feels weird to say that) took my husband and I to a gun range. After shooting a few rounds with several of his guns, I noted that I loved the shell casings and really wanted a necklace made of them. Little did I know that he would surprise me months later with this gift during a family dinner the night before my wedding. He remembered what I said that day and knew that it would be the perfect gift to surprise me - if you saw my reaction, you'd know at that moment that he was right on the money.
Out of my entire jewelry collection (except my engagement and wedding ring of course :P) this is my most valued piece because it was thoughtfully and intentionally made by a loved one.
